Stone Island is an Italian premium men’s apparel model from Ravarino famous for its compass patch that buttons onto the higher sleeve of the left arm. It belongs to Carlo Rivetti’s “Sportswear Company” (SPW). Massimo Osti (b. 1944; † 2005) began his first label C.P Firm in 1974. Island Stone Island was stone island sweatshirt dark grey set as a secondary line or diffusion assortment of his important label. The model specialized in floor treatment of fabrics and dyeing strategies. GFT bought the corporate in 1983, Osti left in 1994, it is now run by Carlo Rivetti. Initially the patches have been green edged, badges from across the year 2000 onwards turned black edged. There are also a run of rarer ‘white badges’ which were initially made on sure jackets to have a good time the millennium. The white badge is now apparent on jackets that use materials that Stone Island develops themselves in-home. The model can also be synonymous with soccer casuals in the UK and Europe and has made appearances in many football hooligan associated documentaries and films.
