Who would Pakistanis like to see the Prize winner? Any Pakistani?
I believe it is because Muslims are angry about everything, particularly over their lack of indoor plumbing.

i think they are disappointed because a Pakistani Social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi was also nominated for that prize but didn’t get the prize. but why the hell should they have any problem with Obama’s achieving the Prize?

I have a problem with Obama getting the nobel peace prize because he has yet to accomplish anything. He has called for a halt to settlement activity in the West Bank, but it still continues. What prize will Obama receive in say 3 years time if he does the impossible and makes peace in the Middle East? The nobel prize again? How could you equate the two? The nobel prize is supposed to be the pinnacle, right? But they’ve given it to him for his potential?
The nobel peace prize should be about accomplishment, and not potential, or almosts, nearly, or half-ways.
Abdul Sattar Edhi, founder of the Edhi foundation definitely would have been a more worthy winner. Obama himself said today that there are others who deserved it more.

Everyone should be upset about this prize. Obama was given it based on promises he made. He has accomplished nothing though. I don’t know enough about the other nominees, but I know Obama didn’t deserve it. It’s a travesty.
