Does the Obama administration scare North Korea in the least?

Do you think Kim Jung Il takes anything the Obama administration says seriously?

I must agree with TX Cyclone, only some of us are scared of this phony and we are not afraid of him but his agenda. I think the slant eyed midget should strap O "baa’ ma to the missile and send him on a long trip!

No. They’re going to launch that "satellite" regardless of what Obama does. And all that tough talk from Hillary is just that…talk.

I support North Korea in that they should be able to pursue technology.

I don’t support their government, but this america thinking we have a right to control the actions with trading embargos and our military is wrong and part of the problem.

North Korea isn’t going to step out of line with 3 billion chinese just across their border.

I don’t think anyone is scared of the United States with the socialist bend-it-over bunny in charge.

Iran’s speeches underscore their hatred of the United States and Obama remains like a child about it.

It’s a war on words, nothing else. "War on Terror" will now be referred to as the nonsense term "Overseas Contingency Operation." Apparently "enemy combatants" is too controversial as well – I suppose they’ll replace it with "misunderstood cultural exchangers" or something equally ludicrous.

We’ll never stop radical Islam if people are afraid to name it.

And for those fans of books, I’m reminded of "Newspeak" from 1984, changing words to innocuous terms that mean nothing. I’m also reminded of the character Fudge from the Harry Potter series, the head of the Ministry of Magic who ignored the threat of Voldemort and the Death Eaters at his peril, so far as getting the press to refuse to name the enemy.

P.s. – as for North Korea, they have the fifth largest army in the world and are quite happy with their human rights abuses / 1984 communist setting. Last I heard starvation led the impoverished North Koreans to sell human limbs in the marketplace. They’re a few inches shorter than the average South Korean owing to malnourishment. 1 / 100 citizens is in a concentration / labor camp. When one person goes to jail, the whole family goes. A woman was imprisoned and tortured for humming a South Korean song and a boy for playing Jazz music. The few financially successful North Koreans have been brainwashed to say self-abasing compliments about the "dear leader" – at least if we take the few documentaries available at face value. Their people are paranoid and afraid of the so-called "enemy" of the U.S. and South Korea. I can think of no worse country on earth than North Korea – except perhaps China as it existed during the Cultural Revolution with Mao Zedong.

The leader of North Korea won’t change a thing. He didn’t do it under Bush, he won’t do it under the weakling Obama.

Of course, they’re terrified of the Hawkish Hillary and the man with the vast political and military experience, Barack Hussein. Actually, Kim probably sees us as future communist comrades, he just needs to keep up the sabre rattling for home consumption.

Ermm, I doubt they’ve ever been "scared" of us… crazy dictators are delusional about their own power, but if he’s not equally "scared" or at least "respectful" of the same U.S. Army that is under the control of Obama, he’s even dumber than I thought.
