I agree 500% with you. I’m in the military and if it was up to me, I would nuke every single corner of that piece of shit country. We are the only ones who follow the geneva convention while they torture everyone they capture. You have to consider that this is not a war "against" terrorism. Its a war "for" making some people (we know who they are) a lot of money. Its blood money, but who cares? Its the green that matters. Consciousness does not play an important role in this. I once worked with a married Pakistani, Muslim man, who would not take "no" for an answer. He insisted and insisted (for months) until he finally caught me at a vulnerable time. His lust was so intense that Ramadan did not even stop him from flirting and getting with me. He claimed he’s in an arranged marriage and does not even love his wife and even went as far to tell me he fell in love with me. I warned him that he is still a married man, and confessed I did not feel comfortable having an affair with him, but this did not stop him. He continued to flirt with me, IM-ing me and texting me on a daily basis and I eventually grew feelings for him.
I made sure I knew where we stood. I asked him whether we were friends and argued that friends do not kiss nor are intimate and he answered he had not looked at me as a friend ever since the affair started. After I gave him an ultimatum, that’s when he confessed he did not have the balls to leave his wife, adding his concern for his son and dependant parents. Why would a man who already knew the consequences of his actions, not have the intention and/or nerve to leave his wife, when he had the nerve to cheat on her? Especially a man of his nationality/religion? I am Latina and this was my very first experience with a Pakistani, Muslim man and I must say, it was very disappointing. Why even bother with the arranged marriages if they don’t even stay loyal? I honestly thought they took their religion much more seriously, especially since they fast for an entire month. I guess it’s like most religions: HYPOCRISY.

no hard feelings at all here, but am really very disturbed to find that almost everywhere on internet, most of our neighbours are just ***plain ignorant*** about the many ground-realities! like, for instance, they happily and jubiantly hail one Mr. zaid hamid, who spews venom at just about everything that isn’t pakistani, obviously, including india, which is highly uncalled for. may be he, and others like him are ignorant ppl like others, or are in reality perpetrators….all these yrs our neighbours have been fed with lies like ‘india was a part of pakistan’, ‘congress wanted to make muslims their slaves pre-partition’, ‘india always initiated wars against pakistan and always lost’, and much much more downright absurd and false claims in their school textbooks, and by their state-controlled media earlier….even if u see their news channel videos, almost all of them either seem to be in gross ignorance, or……..though i would like to believe ‘they’re in ignorance’ (its not uncommon there i guess, coz long time back Mrs. bhutto was asked about their ongoing nuclear prog there by a foreign scribe, n she surprisingly showed ignorance about the subject, coz really, the politicians there have been kept in ignorance by the parallel govt; i assume u know what i am talking of).
