no hard feelings at all here, but am really very disturbed to find that almost everywhere on internet, most of our neighbours are just ***plain ignorant*** about the many ground-realities! like, for instance, they happily and jubiantly hail one Mr. zaid hamid, who spews venom at just about everything that isn’t pakistani, obviously, including india, which is highly uncalled for. may be he, and others like him are ignorant ppl like others, or are in reality perpetrators….all these yrs our neighbours have been fed with lies like ‘india was a part of pakistan’, ‘congress wanted to make muslims their slaves pre-partition’, ‘india always initiated wars against pakistan and always lost’, and much much more downright absurd and false claims in their school textbooks, and by their state-controlled media earlier….even if u see their news channel videos, almost all of them either seem to be in gross ignorance, or……..though i would like to believe ‘they’re in ignorance’ (its not uncommon there i guess, coz long time back Mrs. bhutto was asked about their ongoing nuclear prog there by a foreign scribe, n she surprisingly showed ignorance about the subject, coz really, the politicians there have been kept in ignorance by the parallel govt; i assume u know what i am talking of).

anyways, even if u dont quite get what i am talking of, just search on google or wikipedia about the content of pakistani school textbooks, n u would understand….i mean, guys, quite literally, these ppl have been kept under dark for a long time, and its still so (’india aids taliban’, etc all that sort of stuff)….so, do they still dont know about this sort of ‘brainwashing’ being done to them ?? i know my query might sound like i am trying to arm-twist or dig up past issues, sorry for that if it seems so, but the overwhelming hate-mongering that’s going on in cyber-world has really compelled me to give a vent to my anxiety in this way….hope u understand….

[n plz, plz, dont post any unnecessary pseudo-chauvinistic replies, or some stuff like 'u kill minorities in ur country...', 'islam zindabaad...', 'u urself perpetrated mumbai attacks...', 'u took east pakistan frm us...', etc, n all that stuff...if u r puttin efforts to post ur reply, a little more of it on ur part wont harm u if u just do a reality-check on wikipedia or elsewhere on internet about the conditions that led to 1971 crisis, or about other things too. but even if some1 thinks himself smart enough to overlook all this n just post anything, it would be then atleast better to recall that who has been termed 'international migraine' (n i dont really feel good for that), n keep in his mind the current scenario n situations, which are increasingly engulfing the whole world in its wicked flames...its really becoming apparent to even those ppl who earlier thought that they were on the 'right' path, yet still, they cant accept this fact coz then that would leave them nowhere n with nothing to do...............both nations have vast problems; just reply in a more sensitive way that shows ur factual understanding n not 'bliss-in-ignorance' attitude, which ofcourse, has zero value........ultimately, we have our roots similar, if not the same, and have similarities between us in all walks of our lives (we all know this, yet choose to ignore such a simple thing...i dont really need to elaborate on this), n as common ppl, many of us are dying on streets almost daily, n others 'die' part-by-part, daily....so , plz, plz, plz, understand this, try to look beyond the 'walls', n let better sense prevail...]

peace…
@apollo
i think u mean to say about a certain lobby of ppl who profit by war n selling weapons…yeah dat certainly is one of d reasons n has been so (remember the earlier iraq war and the role of american weapon majors in it ?); but this time though the prob is threatening us under the garb of pseudo-fundamentalism; ‘pseudo’ coz this fundamentalism also kneels down in front of d power of d ultimate ‘boss’ – MONEY ! nevertheless, now evil minds everywhere think it fit to instigate vulnerable ppl in the name of ‘right’ n ‘wrong’ going by religion, regionalism, racist pride, n all sorts of crap, to ultimately achieve their ‘means’ by hook or crook, be they al-qaeda, taliban, or political organisations…..
n u r somewhat correct about influx of ppl in ur country frm south asian countries..though these ppl, without any doubt, must have ‘love’ for their countries, still they somehow seem to think that chances of materialistic progress r better elsewhr; but i feel u dont hv a clearer pic…
@maitree
that’s whr d prob lies ! how can they grasp this fact when they r taught in their schools n universities that ‘kashmir is a disputed territory’ n not a state of India ?! i think ‘ignorance’ is the root cause of all evils in mankind’s history…!
@mehdi a
bro i havnt posted my query for just another bout of mindless bashing…how cannot we have concern for our neighbours when they’re now going through the same phase, frm which v suffer? i agree dat many pakistanis r against for d fight for kashmir, still, i think they dont harbour any good feelings too. my question was a spontaneous reaction to what all i hv read and seen on online public forums, n u too shud hv a look n c for urself wat all our neighbours post online. u really vl feel disgusted ! unless this smoke of ignorance(which’s created by the brainwashing methods of their political ’stalwarts’, n what my query is about) is cleared off, how can we have a common perception of real things?! this is exactly the purpose of their bigwigs, to maintain the clout ! i am pretty sure ppl thr must b thinkin that all this havoc being wreaked upon them has India invloved in it(with d help of taliban, yeah sure). n their interior minister’s ‘claim’ now just goes on 2 prove dis only!
@3rd umpire
yeah mate u r on d right note…when all efforts fail, one should still remember, that ‘the wheels of cause and effect surely move slow, but then they grind the finest’…..still, its again the story of the dog’s tail…"India aids taliban !"…yeah, what else u have in ur closet mr. minister?? they can’t afford to clear the air and lose out on their ‘lost and damned’ cause, lest their ppl get aware of the real scenario and hold them by their collars!

There are certain things which cannot eb changed.

For example Mahmud Ghazni is being revered as an Islamic heron who broke idols and killed infidels ,a true propagator of Islam doing his duty of being a Muslim.And we Indian see him as a barbaric invaders.

Babar is there hero they put there missile name on Ghazni and Babar ,and you call any body in india to hail Babar that would be very difficult for them (except for those who cries for babari Mosque)

We Hindus/Indians believe in the theory of Karma, and Pakistan is getting the result of it,s own Karma.

Punjabi elite of pakistan is still in denial mode of recognising that they are busy in fighting it,s own created Frankenstein.They find India Hand in each and everything happened negative in pakistan.

The latest Joke is allegation of Helping Taliban by India…

Has Pakistan become part of the USA now or something? Or is nothing going on in America lately?

um, no. but when is the last time you watched the news? Serious things are going on there , like the murder of their ex-prime minister yesterday, which could effect foreign policy and our government. Also, presidential elections could be effected as well as terrorist attacks on the united states because certain people in Pakistan are affiliated with terrorists and financially fund them.

You probably dont think all this effects you, however when sh*t like this goes down – oil prices, materials, transportation, gasoline and consumer products all go through the roof. Our economy sucks which effects your bottom line with your paycheck.

The stock market fell dramatically yesterday after the assasination and oil prices went up – say hello to $4 a gallon for gas!

UPDATE: Al Qaeda takes responsibility for the assisination and states: "We terminated the most precious American asset which vowed to defeat [the] mujahedeen,"

Understand why AOL is updating you now?? Read the article below

Dear speakers of Hindi & Urdu on YA,

Please consider the following two sentences,
which contrast only in the position of the emphatic particle [hii].

Then… match each sentence with
the translation that fits it the best, a) or b):

1) naukaR *HII* chor niklaa !

2) *NAUKAR* hii chor niklaa !

a) The servant turned out to be *a* THIEF !
(shocking news!)

b) The SERVANT turned out to be *the* thief !
(so he was the one after all !)
Yes, yes, this makes perfect sense.

okay, now i understand my confusion ! it’s to do with the caps you use in the English translation, along with the bracketed qualifiers ! i’ll check my answer to previous Q, to confirm/alter….

in this case -

1) naukaR *HII* chor niklaa !
b) The SERVANT turned out to be *the* thief !
(so he was the one after all !)
my version :
b) The servant turned out to be *the* thief !

2) *NAUKAR* hii chor niklaa !
a) The servant turned out to be *a* THIEF !
(shocking news!)
my version :
a) The SERVANT turned out to be *a* thief !

hope this helps
all the very best :-)

Who would Pakistanis like to see the Prize winner? Any Pakistani?

I believe it is because Muslims are angry about everything, particularly over their lack of indoor plumbing.

I always thought that a journalist was someone who was supposed to be fair and balanced, and not supposed to take sides. Though he, over the last few years has become extremely left leaning and nothing more then a joke in the world of cable news. Kim Jung Ill has a more fair press working for him.

It is clear to me that Keith and MSNBC has become nothing more then a group of cheerleaders for the failing Obama regime. Sad but true.

Heck every cloud has a silver lining though, and that being that we have a 99% of taking the 2010 congressional elections.

Please… it is nice to see someone else who feels the same way.

It must be that Cow-U education.
